Six Sounds Apparel Brand Story

Six Sounds Apparel is a fashion label that combines street wear and luxury. 

The label is derived from hip hop culture amalgamated with high fashion.

 This luxury brand represents the street wear lifestyle mixed with luxury, that is becoming trendier every day; where people get high quality street wear without paying a fortune. 

We want to raise funds for this project to bring this label to a wider market increasing brand awareness and brand recognition. 

The top competitors of Six Sounds Apparel are successful street wear and leisurewear companies such as Nike, Supreme, Kappa and Fila. We believe this brand has the potential to compete with high fashion labels that consist of a street wear line such as Gucci and Louis Vuitton, to name a few. Our goal is to become one of the highly recognized brands that offer luxury and comfort and bring people closer to the hip hop world where this clothing line started. 

Why I chose to be part of the fashion industry? 

My inspiration comes from hip hop music. The atmosphere hip hop music creates is surreal and it is one of the main reasons why I became a music producer. Hip hop is not just a genre of music, it is a lifestyle. It is a movement that changed the music scene and created inclusive among different people through music. Hip hop has infused in dance, fashion and even sports. For instance, Nike create a multi-billion dollar income stream through one of their most prominent endorsements: Air Jordan's. Nike created the famous Jump Man logo which represent Michael Jordan during his career with Chicago Bulls. The style of Air Jordan's are influenced by the hip hop scene, and usually people who wear them have a urban, street style. 

Six Sounds apparel is a representation of the hip hop culture. While, big brands such as Champion, Kappa and Fila might create clothing lines in their company that have an urban style; those companies are merely following current fashion trends. Their style is susceptible to change when the trend shifts to a different direction. This is exactly why Six Sounds Apparel stands out from all these brands. Our clothing line creates the trend that will always represent hip hop culture. Our target is the youth who have a deep appreciation for the hip hop scene and wish to see it continuously growing. 

The brands that have an influence on my clothing line style are definitely Air Jordan, Nike. However, I wanted to create something unique while still holding onto my roots, so I combined street style with luxury and created a clothing line that is street wear but considered high end. Some of my favorite high end brands are “KITH , GUCCI and PRADA, as these brands recently had fashion lines that were high end street-wear.
